Everything I see, I see in frame, I see as art and song and I see as beauty, even when it's destroyed.
Life is a masterpiece and tapestry of experiences, and I seek to weave each new colorful strand of mine with authenticity, intention and love.
Art and creativity has been at the core of all that I do. In my eternal punk rock quest to remain an individual,
I've learned to take everything I find and turn it into something rebirthed, new and completely unique (including myself).
I hope you'll feel the energy and the love that goes into each of my one-of-a-kind upcycled designs, in my partnership with MAS designs and travel, in my music and photographs, and in any imprint I may lay upon our shared experience(s).
Please stay connected. In a world of fragmentation, it's a true gift to do so.

Shooting since 1991, when I birthed my most beautiful creation to date, my daughter Jaz, I realized I had a keen eye and understanding how to capture the soul of the moment and I haven't put down a camera since. From film to digital and now just on my iPhone, everything I capture is coming from the heart . Life , pixelated and memorialized.

You can blame my Chicana upbringing and Etta James for my love of singing soul. Hearing her wail at 5 years old, I was completely awestruck and have been singing along with her since.
RIP Etta

Singing with The Smokestacks
My love of music goes deeper than any ocean I've ever known. I gave up the idea of pursuing it as a profession in the 90's, but not a day has passed that I haven't thought about it. I still love me a good stage anytime!

I come from a line of East L.A. Lowrider blood and an Irish/Danish mix. Born in Indiana and raised in SoCal.
I'm a GenX 70's baby who had to learn the ropes of life early. Our generation has so much grit and I thank ALL of the Gods that blessed me mine. A strong sense of self, some damn good instincts and an insatiable curiosity has gifted me with one hell of a story.
I've said forever that my life has felt like I was a ©Feather in a Tornado (my book title to come!)
A tornado; so powerful and unpredictable, silent and chaotic at once
A feather ; able to hold it's softness and integrity through it all.
That's me! That's my life's journey for sure......
I just want to live a life of exclamation points and not question marks. To feel like I turned over every rock and swam in as many waters. Life is so damn short. LIVE IT!
Live your truths WITHOUT excuse, Fall in LOVE with yourself FIRST and foremost and then just trust the UNIVERSE to unveil the rest of its magic for you.
